ANZAC DAY

On Wednesday the students of 3/4 K led an Anzac Day presentation for Dana Street students. The students read some facts and information about the Anzacs and the sacrifices that they made for us as Australians. We listened to “The Ode” and had one minute’s silence. Lisa Richards played the saxophone for the Last Post and we had two students read their own personal poems. Each class had created a wreath and they have now been laid at the School Flag Pole. We had families and grandparents attend our service too. Thanks to those families and friends who attended our ANZAC Service. On ANZAC Day, the four school captains represented our school at the march in Sturt St and laid a wreath on behalf of the school.                  Lest We Forget
